2021 — Listening to Communities
Voices Guiding the Mission
In 2021, B4P CODEFOUND focused deeply on listening, learning, and community engagement.
The organization officially launched the LOCA Project, a major consultation and community outreach initiative designed to gather insights, experiences, and perspectives from communities across 15 U.S. states and two counties in Liberia.
The findings from these consultations helped shape future organizational priorities, strengthen partnerships, and improve program design.
The project emphasized the importance of community voices in shaping development programs and strategic planning. Instead of imposing solutions, the organization prioritized listening to women, youth, leaders, and underserved populations to better understand their real challenges and aspirations.
